Happiness. No matter what you achieve in life, be it fame or riches, in the long run 'it don't mean a thing' unless you're happy!

Personal achievements - Eg; Goals achieved on a personal level, such as losing weight, stopping smoking etc

Family achievements - Things achieved as a family such as a family comp or just spending that quality time together, etc.

Relationship achievements - Having beeing in a few relationships, you have found the one you want to be with on a permanent basis and you spend good quality time together, having a family together, etc.

Working achievements - In a job you like, good hours, decent money, etc.

Housing achievements - Renting / buying a house thats now classed as officailly yours, etc

Pet achievments - Being able to provide a loving home to that pet you've always wanted, etc.

Schooling achievements - Having completed school and got your GCSE's either good or bad, further education, etc.


Although my life has been far from bleeding simple (not saying that anyone else's hasn't been either) but I'm pround of my achievements, and my life so far, through the long, winding, twisting road has found me success, through all the good times, and the bad.

i think, its not that how you measure your success, its just how you judge your past. if you think that any incident in your life is what you regret for, but still you take it in a positive way and teach yourself a lesson from it you were definitely successful. positive attitude will make you learn about your success. ultimately what matters is how much you honor your past, by doing so automatically you will learn to measure your success. eventually, the same the incidences will become a parameter for the measurement of your wholesole success.

I was told you measure success by how many keys you have and use on your key ring, but my way is to look at what i had, and what i have, if you have more today than you had yesterday then your going in the right direction,

I like to post the gory details of my every dilema, thought and desire on yahoo answers so that a bunch of total strangers can give their verdict. That way I can see whether I'm making popular decisions and I'm "in" with the popular moral majority, regardless of the fact that most of them are fatuous, braindead morons who get all their ideas from the Daily Mail and "Hello" magazine.

Ooh, and I don't forget to check what Posh and Becks are up to - that's a pretty good gauge too.
