sending sms using a laptop through a bluetooth cellphone.
ive heard of NowSMS program but it is commercial and i havent tried it yet...
any other similar programs?

ive done this with old nokia phones and their free software. but the data cable(no ir/bt link) for my old phone is hard to find. also, could you tell me the model of your phone and the software version of the nokia suite? thanks

I have done this with Nokia PC suite and the approriate Nokia phone - can you update the question with your phone make & model?
Nokia suite is a free download, but fairly obviously...works with Nokia phones only - and there are different versions for different phones.

It comes standard with Nokia PC suite. I only have a Nokia, but I assume a similar software suite comes with SonyE/// and the other major vendors as well.
