It's a guys phrase that has worked for centuries! While on the computer we all know if you ar in the middle of something you can't just quite and walk away within a second. You have to finish what you started so, hoey I will be there in a minute, is frustrating but, it works every time! Guys will always use that phrase and we will always let them use it! We use it too at times when we are watching a good movie. But, guys are used to waiting on us!

My husband plays World of Warcraft. Depending on what I'm calling him for, I give him 3 on average. Then I come stand next to him and he knows hes in trouble.

my bf gets away with one... then I tell him to STOP PLAYING ON THE COMPUTER OR HE'S GOING TO MISS OUT! then he says he's "fixing" it (guy euphamism for playing around on the computer :) then I give him the "whatever" look and he says ooookay, I don't want to miss out :) and he switches off his computer :) This happens often :) ha ha reading this Q made me laugh.
