Finallly tested positive after numerous tests. Go to GP today only to be told that because I came off the pill it is too early to be sure. I'm confused now cos I think I am overdue by 3 days and many tests are very sensitive. Now I have to buy yet another test and go back in a week if it's still positive. I had major complications with my last child and this is very stressful.
Anyone else had similar experiences?

unfortunately is called cutback's, if you have done more than one home test and your sure your pregnant, don't bother paying out for another just go back to the G.P. next week and tell him you have done one, nothing can be done in the first couple of week's of pregnancy anyway, they will have to do there own test then, good luck I'll keep my fingers crossed for you

The pill doesn't cause a positive pregnancy test. I would goto another doctor, because apparently this one is stupid! People get pregnan on the pill for gosh sakes,by missing 1 pill.. obviously they can get pregnant OFF the pill, even if they recently stop taking it.

Just relax!!! If you are only late with your period 3 days, then you are only in the very early stages of pregnancy. Look after yourself, eat well, and do the right things by your baby. Then go back in a week. If you still are not happy with your care then change doctors.

don't get stress out. . . tis is tha last thing you want. If the dctor doesnot listen to you then get asecond opinion. stress can lead to complication during pregnacy.

I haven't, but I would demand that your doctor takes you seriously NOW.
If (s)he isn't helping you, see another doctor...that's entirely your right!
