ONLY POLITICAIN BECAUSE IF OUR POTICIANS SHALL BE HOENST THEN THERE BUREAUCRATS WILL NOT HAVE COURAGE TO BECOME CORUPT OR MISUSE OF THE PUBLIC MONEY AND IF OUR PUBLIC MONEY UTILISED IN AN HONEST WAY OUR COUNTRY WILL BE HIGHER THEN THE OTHERS COUNTRIES ON THE WORLD MAP.

I don't understand majority mindset, if it really is responsible for any degradation it,s the survival of secularism and democracy in India i think you should check this category, the real culprit for India degradation is socialist policies adopted by early governments,and upgaradation both politicians like manmahan singh and vajpayee, narsimharao and bureaucrat's like manmohan singh earlier for adopting open market policies

Anyways, in the interest of answering your 'question', I think India's 'Up-Gradation' is due to it's search for technology . Not that it really matters though .

In the first category, I wish you had an option " None of the above", for I think the common man is responsible for the upgradation, not withstanding the four categories of the people who are responsible for its degradation.
