Love is a complicated thing.
Mostly it's accepting another person for who they are and being able to appreciate it and at the same time having the freedom to be yourself with that person. It it trust, freindship compassion and tolerance.
Freindship is ok. It's perfectly fine. Love isn't necessary. You can just be freinds with a person but sometimes, you find that you love a friend.
The best relationship is when love grows out of freindship.
To answer your q, yes. it's fine just to be freinds.

Love is being as true to a person as you are to yourself.
In my opinion friendship is the most important feature of love.
At some point of time in your life you feel the need of love...but friendship is the first step towards it..

Friendship is cool. And love is friendship at its best. So that explains it all....
We need love. Love is a bond between any two relationships. We love our friends, we love our parents, we love our kids, etc. etc. The love you are talking about is a bond between a gal and a guy for life. Well, you don't need it until you find a right match for you. But once you find one, I bet you die for it...

love is a the sum total of all the good attitude that you are willing to give to a person. and you can get it from your parents, from your friends, not just from a boyfriend or girlfriend.. yes everybody needs love.. but not everybody needs a boyfriend or girlfriend to find love.
