Do you think your guns will be safe even though Democrats have seized power?

If history tells us anything about gun rights, it's that the most dangerous time is when liberal Democrats are in power. Every major assault against the 2nd Amendment has originated when Democrats and/or liberals felt powerful enough to trample our rights: the Brady BIll - the New Orleans gun confiscations, etc.

Some of my rifles have bayonette lugs. Should I be scared? because apparently liberals have a problem with rifles featuring bayonette lugs, and other non-sensical reasons.

You should be scared. Democrats (Socialists) do not tolerate an armed public. That is a threat to their supreme mastery over the population.

As leading Leftists such as Mao Tsetung, Adolf Hitler, Stalin, Castro and others made clear, arms are tools of the State. That is how they ensure their tyranny cannot be challenged.

You can be sure that Democrats will continue to Progressively enslave the American people, disarming them, taking away their Rights and deceiving Americans about their own history and founding principles.

Safer with guns. Guns give everyone the same power. There will always be strong people who attempt to prey on the weak, guns are the only counter to that. With a gun, an 80 year old lady is equal to a 25 year old bodybuilder. Without guns a group of physically strong douchebags will quickly form up and dominate that room.

I don't worry to much about it. A long time ago I decided that if I wanted to have several guns for self protection I would buy them on the black market. And I did.

This way, when the time comes, and at some point it will, to collect guns from honest citizens, they don't know I have them.

Illegal? Of course. It's odd that I have to break the law to insure my rights.

By the way, it is a lot easier to buy an illegal weapon than a legal one. Just goes to show how ineffectual the gun laws are.

Yea I'm worried.. As the first answer said, liberals hate guns because it's the only thing that can end their tyranny.

Interesting take. I would be scared. Look at bill C-68 North of the border, the supposed "envy" of US gun control advocates. The agenda as it appears historically is to slowly strip away the rights of individuals to bear arms.
