Yes, exactly, I think he is senile and he is losing his mind.
As for him becoming the president, I don't think so, he's 80 years old, we need someone young, but frankly, I don't see anyone good enough to be becoming the next president...very scary

Yes, of course but why?
See when he came back from France Christians thought that he will be the saver (though the Christians were happy and nothing they needed) and when he came he became seeking his own power and being president. I know many and I do mean MANY Christian who will not vote for him.
What good did he get us anyway back in the 1989 and 1990 he put us in a war with Syria while he was taking the money from the banks and he ran away like a puppet to France. What good did Michael Aoun do to us???
I just want to see 1 day that the Lebanese would be united.

Michel Aoun used to be my role model ever since 1980's when I was only a child. I had lots of relatives in the army then and they seemed to love him too.
In the early 80’s he was the commander for the army’s eighth infantry brigade. In 1983, Aoun's 8th Brigade defeated Syrian-backed militia forces attempting to overrun the strategic Souk al-Gharb which overlooks the capital. In June 1984 he became the Army Commander in Chief.
In July 1989, the 10th brigade, battalions 101 and 103 in particular replaced the 8th brigade in Souk al Gharb. During that time, the Lebanese Army under the command of Aoun bravely defended Souk Al Gharb against the PSP, communists and Palestinians after huge battles. At the same time the 9th brigade faced and defeated Amal movement in Ras El Nabeh in Beirut.
For all what proceeded, Aoun became my role model.
After his return to Beirut, I was hoping that he would become the “savior” for Lebanon. Unfortunately, he flipped and ganged up with those who are even worse than Hariri and Lebanese Forces.
I gave up on him, and so did many of his previous supporters. I guess he did commit political suicide after all.

well I used to admire Aoun and the way he used to stand up for his beliefs. Now when someone mentions his name, the image of a crazy, bitter old man pops up in my head. The way he just screams at everyone who disagrees with him and throws accusations in all directions is crazy. Not to mention that doctored photo of the LF guy in the protests.. seriously ya3ni? He definitely commited political suicide.

well I think he lost the plot ages ago.
we have spent the last year waiting to see what's he gonna do. refusing to accept that he could be so stupid.
But I've given up on him, and I wish he never came back to Lebanon.

greed and blind ambition to reach presidency changed the General we used to know.
The Aon that returned from France is not that who left 15yrs ago there.
