The system fails to work if humans live forever. It would create a crowded Earth that was dominated by a few people for a very long time. Simply put, change is a necessary condition for life.

our lives are lessons that our spirits have to learn... we die so we can go to the next level... the next phase of the adventure. that's why you shouldnt commit suicide, because then your spirit doesnt learning the lessons that it is supposed to...
