Once infected, you may have to use a friend's computer to download the removal tool or other anti-virus software, burn it to a CD or flash drive and carry it back to your computer where you can run the tools in SAFE mode.

Aprotectedpage.com is a dangerous computer hijacker that is often installed without user knowledge or consent by Zlob trojan. Aprotectedpage.com hijacker may hijack your homepage to www.aprotectedpage.com.

(1) Get you self a good antivirus or a free one .
(2) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot do that now .
(3) Also do an online virus scan to check what other viruses you have in your computer. If it still finds virus and spyware .
(4) Download hijackthis
(5) Post the hijackthis log on the hijackthis forum for the hijackthis experts to take a look

Since your homepage is pointing to http://aprotectedpage.com, this means your PC is infected with a trojan called Zlob Trojan. Of course it is important to get rid of aprotectedpage.com, but it is just as important to also remove the Zlob Trojan that implanted it there. In my experience, a program called SpyNoMore is your best bet in removing the Zlob trojan. By removing this trojan, you will also get rid of aprotectedpage.com. Another symptom of Zlob Trojan is that it generates fake warning messages like:

System Alert
Critical System Error
System Performance monitor warning
Security Alert: NetWorm-i.Virus@fp
W32.Myzor.FK@yf

Change your security settings. In the control panel somewhere I think. Also get yourself a decent anti-adware program. I recommend http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 .
