1. The universe is a big place, so the chances are there are aliens somewhere. Unless you believe we were created specially by God, in which case he might not have bothered to create any aliens. But for the majority of people on the planet who believe that life evolved here, then it seems reasonable to think that it will have evolved in other places as well.

2. No evidence for aliens has ever been discovered. But the universe is a big place, so if there were aliens at the other side of the galaxy, we wouldn't know about it.

3. The scale of interstellar space is so big (did I mention that the universe is a big place), that it would probably take us thousands of years just to get to the nearest solar system to our own, and perhaps millions before we could get to a solar system inhabited by aliens. The same applies to them coming to visit us.

4. On the other hand, there's nothing to stop us sending out signals to any aliens that might be out there (we've been doing it for about 70 years now) and we are currently listening in the SETI project to see if we can detect any signals coming from aliens. But no luck so far. You can help the SETI project by allowing them to use your PC for calculations of the data when you're not using it. You just leave your computer on and it communicates across the internet to the SETI computers.

There are aliens. Its everywhere in the universe. The reason why Aliens have not have any encounter is because of nothing can go faster than light and fold space. Even if they can achieve 99% speed of light it would still take thousands of years to reach Earth!

They would be dead already on the way here.

Let me tell you -

There are a minimum of 1000000000 galaxies out there in the universe.

And there are 10000000000 stars on an average in each galaxy.

There there are 100000000000000000000 stars out there.

Let's assume that 1/100 of these stars have planetary systems.

Therefore there are 100000000000000000 planetary systems out there.

Let's take it that out of these many planetary systems only 1/1000 of these have a planet like Earth which supports life.

Therefore there are 10000000000000 Earth like planets.

Now let's assume that life might have started in only 1/1000 of these planets.

therefore there are 100000000000 planets which have life.

CONCLUSION-
We are not alone

These calculations can also be more and can be even more.

Maybe if they existed they don't really know us quite yet. It's like a bluff that we are making for them. Let's say your a cop and you hear of a hostage situation in a building. You can see them through a bulletproof window, but not all of it. You stop and think what if he has weapons we can't see. It could possibly be the same for them.

Maybe because they are smarter than us, they are alot smarter technology wise also, they could inpersinate us, look like us, talk like us, just getting small amounts of information to see why we are here, what are we etc..

I think that there are other life forms out there. They may be here. Who knows? Maybe they're just curious!

just by statistics, there have to be other lifeforms in the universe.
BUT there is no reason to believe they ever have or, ever will visit earth.
just think of the trouble we had getting men to our own moon?
