In year 8 we were told to read a book called Tomorrow when the war began by John Marsden, once i reluctantly read it i was an addict, i read The remainder 6 books in The series and then i read the 3 books in The Ellie Chronicles, I love them and John Marsden has inspired me to write my own which i have done, well almost, it is 43344 words and I'm only about a 1/4 of The way finished, i was 13 when i started it and right now i am 14 and i plan to finish it by my 15th birthday and have it published before my 16th

I enjoy reading just about everything. I enjoy Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, some of Nicholas Sparks' books, The Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon and many of the classics like Great Expectations, A Picture of Dorian Gray, and Frankenstein.
In general, there are some really good new and older fiction and non-fiction books out there. You just have to watch out for some of the garbage being mixed in.

I enjoy reading books like: 'Great Tales from English History' by Robert Lacey, 'The Stories of English', by David Crystal, and The Longman Anthology of British Literature (Volume 1A - The Middle Ages). In other words, History and Literature.
