Is it cool to be a g0y? What does it mean? My friend says he is one and wanted to know what I thought. I dont know what it means.

Hmm, goy or gay? A goy means a person from another nation or non-Jew. But a gay means someone that is attracted to soemone else of the same sex.

G0y is a made-up term for a small segment of the population of gay and Bi men who do not practice anal sex, are discriminatory against effeminate gay males and have pseudoreligious rationalizations to justify their own internalized homophobia. From their website, many claim religious justification for maintaining a relationship(and sometimes marriages) with females( I believe they use David as an example) while maintaining a male sexual partner on the side. They emphasize the hypermasculine stereotype as being the preferred appearance and shun those who do not fit into their Idea of masculinity. They claim to dislike the term "gay" because of a "social stigma" attached to it and instead of standing up and fighting with the gay community they have chosen to separate themselves into a smaller subset in an attempt to avoid association with the stereotypes commonly imposed upon the gay community by outside groups.
I have no respect for them whatsoever. Is it "cool" to be g0y? NO. It's "cool" to be yourself and stand up and fight for the entire LGBT community instead of running away from others' false accusations and trying to hide.
(Remember the story of Peter when Jesus said you will deny me 3 times before the rooster crows? That's g0y for you.)

A "goy" is slang for a non-Jew. It is frequently a derogatory label used by Jews to refer to non-Jews. For me personally, being called a "goy" would be very offensive.
