If not, why on earth are there pink Playboy watches, lighters, etc for sale? Not to mention Playboy folders and pencil cases being sold in kids accessories stores (Claires Accessories in the UK)?

Playboy brand used to be quite unique and not very popular a bit designer but now its soo chav its everywhere and the products look so cheap and nasty. People are even getting tattoos of the playboy bunny. I really dont like it and wouldnt buy it. Its also been directed at children now too like bed covers and chairs for their bedrooms coz its all bright pink but if you think about what playboy is and what the play boy bunnies get up to in that mansion ( porn, porn, porn!!) i wouldnt be letting my child have a playboy bedroom!!!!

(ANS) YES! I've also thought this is a bit weird too. But from what I can see its totally a pre-teen thing with young school girls. I'm talking aged 7yrs to 12yrs. These girls seem to like the playboy logo but have no real understanding of what playboy is all about, they dont really know fully (how can they?) what porn or pornography actually is. The logo appears to be seen as a cool thing along with the pink fluffy thing too.
**My nahbours daughter who is about 9/10yrs old like's the playboy brand, seems to have it all over the show & the parents dont seem to have any objections which I find equally weird. But there you go it takes alsorts to make a world?

I think the people that wear the playboy brand are extremely tacky and just do it so men will see it and automatically think they're into sex. Oddly enough I actually see older women wearing it more than pre-teens or teenagers. Disgusting and trashy. I don't know why anyone would want to associate themselves let alone represent such a trashy industry.

I don't mind the brand as such, for adults, although it's not my thing. In all honesty I find it kind of tacky, and I don't a lot of the seediness associated with it! It's definitely not a good thing that Claire's are selling Playboy branded items, in my opinion. Playboy and Playgirl are adult themed and that's how it should stay, kids should NOT be around it.

ok, everyone has hit the nail on the head and hit the jackpot,
i share the same views too.
BUT the show 'girls of the playboy mansion' is so funny to watch , they live in lala land, but it is just all for laughs and it's their life. but i would never ever wear their stuff, although i would grab their autograph if i saw them in America.
Ann summers should be allowed to sell the range or other appropriate/suitable retailers.

I agree. It's sick. I can't understand why any sane woman would want to associate herself with this trash. Even worse though are parents who buy this rubbish for their kids. The poor girls just see a cute fluffy bunny and don't understand the meaning behind it. Must be a paedo's dream come true.

I dont know why, the only people I see wearing and using these pink fluffy things are the same people who were wearing that horrible tartan stuff (you know who and what i am talking about!)
