Doing right turn does not cause me dizziness if it is done solely. But when it was fast, then it did. Also, doing double turns makes me dizzy too. I hope you can help me.

When turning try to hold your head steady with your eyes fixed in a object for a few secounds before starting the turn. Try it in slow motion at first then at normal tempo. It takes time to adapt to these types of body changes, pratice and tell yourself that you will not get dizzy. They other things to think about, talk to your doctor and see if you ahve an inner ear problem in the making. Do you get head aches on the right side of your head and above the right eye? If you have an ear problem you might have a right side mussle problem where the mussles are over worked and body wants you to stop. See to it. Home I've helped you Teema

I too get dizzy when I spin a lot. Two things:
1 - spot. Look at one thing before you turn (usually your partner) and when you spin around find that spot again to look at.

2 - If I have a head cold or sinus issues I can REALLY get dizzy and fast. Try taking a motion sickness pill before you go dancing. This REALLY works for me. It helps the dizzy feeling a lot.

Good luck and keep dancing! :)

Try spotting. Then just get used to it. That sounds flippant, but everybody gets dizzy some to start, and you adjust..

Dizziness associated with "turning" or "spinning" in dancing can be managed by focusing your eyes on each of the four walls as you are turning.

Find one focal point when you turn. Focus on one object before you do the turn and focus on it again when you completed it. I recommend focusing on your partners face.
