One thing to note is that you can factor 2(2x - 1)^(1/2)

2(2x - 1)^(1/2) [x - 1]

Common factor is (2x - 1)^(1/2)
Answer is then:-
(2x - 1)^(1/2)(2x - 2) = 2(2x - 1)^(1/2)(x - 1)
