I'm a Sri lankan but I feel that Indians in this tournament are bit ahead of our guys coz they are playing in their country and they are just after the victory against Windies which is a real big bonus to them.Sri lankans haven't played an international match for a one month.
I saw in this forum that Murali and Vaasi aren't gonna play and if its true it'll be easier for indians.We Sri lankans have good players but they are really unpredictable(more than windies).In that case Indians are much more consistent than our fellas.Sri lankans will depend on Sanath Jayasuriya and if he does well sri lankans will have a great time since he is the one and only real match winner for sri lanka apart from murali.
Still cricket is an unpredictable game and you cant tell until the last ball of the match.

Of course, India will win the tropy against Srilanka. It isn't analytical version,It is a bit of of heart of every Indians after the defeat of West-Indies. The top Batsman of India is on form and the blowers are in line-length and all the players are in courageous mood to fight against all.

There is no point asking about india, since it seems that 90% of the people on this forum are indian. You will never get an unbiased answer.
If you look at their recent form, Sri Lanka are definatly the favourites. They had a spectacular series against New Zealand. India had a shocking series against SA, but seem to be bringing it all together. It will be close, the winner will be the team thats superstars fire... jayasuria/mattapattu for SL or Tendulka/dravid for India.

surely!!!!!!because all our boys are doing good these days and are back in their form!!!!!the other advantage is that we are playing on an Indian ground and many youngsters are also coming up very brightly!!!
with this kind of effort the Indian team can not only over srilanka but also the world cup!!!!!
i feel that our boys have all that potential in their blood.....but these guys are always bothered about becoming popular and not about their REPUTATION in the game......
i think the boys have to take the game seriously and work hard....
they have to play with the spirit of winning the game for their country!!!!!!!

Yes. India have a great chance to win. But, if the stupid experimentation continues.., like dropping the match winners.., the win is gonna be a big question mark.
