Is their a site that you could go to?How much could a person make doing that?I work two full time jobs as a cook but i love to write and draw and I have been wanting to pursue one of them professionally.Any help would be great. Also , can a person write for a living without having to go back to college .It is more about really being able to afford it right now.

He's right, submit, submit, submit!!And then, wait for the rejection letters......it's the unfortunate truth.I could've wallpapered a mansion with the rejection letters I got before I ever sold a cartoon.Just have the patience and the persistence.A good resource is The Artist's Market.Loads of great contacts in there. And you will be doing a lot of 'pays in copies'before you ever start making any money. That's just how you get your name and/or work out there. The whole key is to stay busy, which is a concept it sounds like you are already very familiar with!!Good luck!!
