What do you do to commenmorate a death anniversary ? What do you do to remember some one you loved that has passed on ? Do you do anything specific ? How do you spend that death anniversary day ?

Well, my family sits at the table and speaks about how goofy my brother was. We remenisce and laugh. We remember the small and silly things that he shared with only us as a family. I sometimes wear a butterfly clip in my hair so he can see Im thinking of him.

Remember someone who has passed can be very painful. But maybe you should just remember the good times you had with that person. Get together with his or her friends at the person's favorite place and each person could bring some object that reminds them of that person. Could be a letter the person wrote, a seashell, a photo, just something. And it should be a happy remembering time for everyone there. Then you could maybe suggest that those there might want to give a little something to a cause that that person believed in...Doing something like this might help you to celebrate the person's life instead of just thinking about the fact that they are gone now. Just have a quiet time in remembrance or if you were really close and live nearby go and put flowers on their grave and talk to them..They may not be there but hey at least you tried .If its someone from your past just take a little time and think about them during that day .. thats all that you can do.. really

when my dad passed away from cancer i made a small wooden mail box and placed on his head stone and every year since he has passed away i write him a letter about whats going on in my life and tell him that i love and miss him and i place it in the mail box that i made for him. it might sound crazy but when my dad was alive i went off to college and we wrote letters to each other almost every day so i just wanted to keep that memory alive because he always told me that my letters in the mail to him were the only thing that made him want to get out of bed sometimes. i guess its just my way of telling him that i haven't forgotten him. :)

I light a candle and remember all the things that I miss about them, I also put flowers on their graves if they were not cremated.

i'll go to a place that memorize them for me! somewhere we had a good time befor!
or may be start watching their video or listen to their voice or read their notes if available!
