Uhm, sex is sex. It doesn't have to be special. Sex with my lover is special because we love eachother. Don't worry, he's had a 'promiscuous past' too. I think all kinds of experiences are important and that includes experiences with loveless, friendship and loving sex.
I suggest you go have some sex with your wife. You need to relax.

You know I got to apologize here because I believe I answered one of your question's before hand, maybe misjudged you.
I'm sorry if indeed this is what I did. No hard feelings.
You got me there on the part about the past, then why are there history books.
Now that's a good question.
But put that all aside, the only way I can see or answer in a kind of right way (Or at lest my thinking is this way)
Any body can have sex! Sex has different levels.
Sex can be just sex A desire to want
F---K is just a quicky A quick fix to needing
Love is with the one The one that give you that warmth feeling
If you felt that way about love then you know what I'm saying?
Got to have, need, want.
Gives you the air you breathe and reason towake up each day.
The one you want to be the mother of your children, the ever lasting sole mate at that given time of your life.
You my friend will know that from the heart.
I know you will, your smart I can tell.
Just reading between your lines I can tell.
PS. Who really really want to talk or hear about their past sex life.
Not so really important or healthy for the relationship.

Got a point there. I suppose if BOTH people were going to openly talk about previous lovers, etc. then the subject might be more attractive. If one is on the attack or defense, however...not a good time for open forum.

Some people may be ashamed of their past behavior & it could be painful to them, or they don't want to disrespect their current partner by talking about past experiences, & some just aren't as concerned about the past as they are with the present. Not that the past isn't important, b/c we learn from past experience, but maybe it's just not so important to talk about or not interesting enough to write a book about.

People should be totally open and honest with each other if a relationship is going to work. You should not hold a persons sexual experiences against them if they are open and honest about it from the start. People that hide thing from their partners are either ashamed of themselves and afraid of being rejected or looked down on or they are just plain dishonest.

Sex has become to liberated. People shouldn`t have sex with just anyone. I have no problem talking about the only other guy I`ve been with(besides my husband) but you might be right, he doesn`t want to hear anything and he won`t tell me anything.
Maybe they wish they hadn`t done it with so many people?

Because some people can't handle the truth and others hold it back to not cause problems in their new relationships.
