well though it seems that the differences are very less actually there is a lot of difference in the o.s. which is one of the reasons for the increased price.also u get a 2gb card with the 5300 and what u get with 5200 is less so that' also a major difference for the price.or just being theoretical 5300 is an one-up version of 5200 and is a music express phone so the increase in pricing

The big thing was improvement in the screen. That is what will drive up the price mainly.
Look at the computer monitors. Two 19" monitors look the same, but one may be $200 more. The reason is the resolution is higher in the higher priced monitor.
