learning to accept cheating husbands?

I dont understand why so many women are so surprised and shocked when they learn their husbands are cheating or have cheated in the past. I mean they are men what does these women expect..I have been married 14 yrs and my husband has had many affairs but i dont sit around whining about it or feeling sorry for myself like other wives cause i know how men are they have very high sex drives and will always find other women attractive..They cant help themselves and its only human nature that if they have a chance with an attractive woman they will go for it and it doesnt mean they dont love their wives.My husband has a VERY high sex drive and there are many times that i didnt wanna bother with sex like months so i couldnt expect him to go without and as long as he practices safe sex im fine with this and i know he loves me and thats all that matters and if other wives would just accept this then maybe there wouldnt be so many divorces.

Oh my goodness. Someone flushed their morals and values down the drain? I suppose your vows mean nothing. Does everyone agree with me when I say: This woman is a stupid woman and a doormat! Are you completely out of your mind? Your husband has a high sex drive, so it's OK for him to f*** anything that moves?! Your husband is a sex addict and you are being an enabler. Did you read what you wrote? Do you think that's normal and desirable and that you're somehow better than everyone because you put up with this s***. They're the ones who are normal. They are right to be hurt and upset. Marriage is about commitment and being there for each other. NOT ALL MEN CHEAT. MY FATHER WAS A SERIAL CHEATER AND IT HURT EVERYONE.

I guess if your really comfortable with him cheating on you, then you have it all worked out. Self respect is important, it's what keeps us going every day. By allowing this to happen, your disrespecting yourself. Not just your husband disrespecting you. Oh, and people like you both shouldn't even be married. Because marriage is a commitment not an acceptance. So your actually supporting divorce by getting married in the first place.

Gina : It's rare to fine a wife with your prospective, most men would like a wife like you. Through the years I've noticed with friends and such that "True Love" is hard to find, even when people marry for what they belive is Love. Most people marry for different reasons, be it money,pressure, age, looks, etc. People that stay together for years get used to each other believing love is in the air when in fact it's the kids,security ,and other circumstances.Surly there's a hand full of people that are truly in love even a nude Miss America couldn't make them cheat, few and in between. You sound like you have very low self-esteem. My husband loves me enough not to go out on me. Your husband doesn't love you. He might love the life he has with you, but not you. If your husband has a high sex drive--you should've developed one also. How lazy to say--"go screw another woman, I don't want to bother with sex." Geez you sound like my first wife.. so well i made her my swinging partner and we had couples ,threesomes and everysomes then after 23 years divorced i found a woman that wouldnt cheat on me or allow me to cheat im happy ,healthy and secure..Just doesnt work out for everyone but hey i tried your way whats the point in being married.. because you are used to them.. thats not good enough.. but why should you sit around join him it sounds like you are like her at least you wont be bored..

Stop right there.......I mean there are men out there more attractive than our hubbies. And who says if you are female you want lobster every night for dinner? When you can also have a juicy burger once in a while? Its about self-respect and self-contol. Sex drive has nothing to with gender - there are men whose women are sex-starved coz they don want that often. Stop trying to feed us with lies. If you are serious I think that your husband is a lucky guy. If it were mine he would be divorced. Marriage means that you do not cheat or have other sex partners. So why get married for money I would like to know.

Reading your previous questions "My husband would NEVER' Cheat etc. It looks like you have had a change of heart! I think we all know you would probably have a very lonely life if you confronted him.so keep your head down!...say nothing and try to be more adventurous...also try shedding some weight and toning up a little. or join him.
