Just got the car recently, but I haven't been able to locate where to check the transmission fluid. Can anybody give me an idea of where to look and/or where to fill it? This is the first car where I can't locate. Thanks everyone!!

That would be an easy fix, IF I had the owner's manual. Called a local dealer and some salesman told me that the car was too old to get an owner's manual through them.

Can't somebody give me a clue where to check the transmission fluid? I've looked all over the engine compartment and can't locate it. No, I don't have the owner's manual. Please help

Check the owners manual. If its not listed in there, call a mitsubishi garage and simply ask one of the mechanics. Its there somewhere, but you really have to look.

If my memory serves me rite, you have to remove the speedometer cable and look at its tip.
