a) 3√6 - 4√3 + 4√2 - 6
b) 9+4 - 6√7

(3√5-6) - (4-√2)/7 = (21√5 +√2 - 46)/7

(4x + 5)/(x^2 + x - 6)

Simplify:

3√12 / 6 √15

Square the outer numbers and bring inside the root sign:

3 x 3 =9 and 6 x 6 = 36, so √(9 x 12)/ √(36 x 15) = √108/ √540
which is simply √0.2

You have to be exact with your typing.
In question 20, do you mean 3/sqrt5 + 2 or do you mean 3/(sqrt5 + 2)?
Similarly, second expression is open to doubt.
As an aside, I would like to know how to obtain sqrt sign.
