Back in the UK and homeless my son and daughter have adopted me. Daughter buys me socks and frocks and cooks me lovely dinners at her house, son lets me use his pc, drink his JD and buys me pringles, revels and coke when he goes out and leaves me home alone at his.
Should I put a stop to this over indulging or milk it while it lasts?

The coke I refer to is to mix with the JD....

Yeah nice one. Just get them to swap the Pringles for Twiglets and the JD for Scotch!

Ummm Do you think there is an ulterior motive in all this attention? Do you have a hidden stash that they have got their eyes on? Make the most of it - try and milk it a bit more if you can - how about asking them for an Island holiday somewhere, cos you get so tired with all this over indulgence, and need a break.

If I were you, I'd make sure I helped out around the house as much as possible. They obviously love you and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Make sure you are a good house guest while you are there and that way, you will be sure of a welcome when you visit again.

If you put twenty odd years into raising both of them and they turned out alright, why shouldn't they be able to show you that they are grateful?

if you carry on they will just see you as a PAIN put a stop to it, get yourself a job and a flat.
