An alleged criminal would be proved as a criminal only after a true and fair trial by a competent court in the country and a subsequent judgement on the cse. The Golden rule of indian juduicaiary is that - Even if a thousand criminals escape, no single innocent person should be punished - hence there are some cases where actual criminals escapes due to various resons such as proper proof, proper presentation of the case by the other lawyer etc. Moreover, if a person is caught under some criminal circumstances, he need not be the real criminal behind the so called crime- the actaul criminal may be hiding, the usual nature of crime in india is such that highly influential people are using some on street criminals to do crimes and they themselves hide.

Because the crime must be prooved in court of law, which taks time. No innocent should be punished, is our policy. Crime being a relative term, it must be fitted into the legal frame and then only can the criminal be punished. Good no?
