It is normal, at 26 weeks, and even later in your pregnancy. If you are conserned you can always eat a little something wait about an hour the lay on your left side. This is when they should be most active. But, your baby is probably just sleeping or resting. It is completely normal!
Best of Luck~

When I was pregnant with my first (quite a few years ago now) I didn't feel my baby move much during the day at all, but he kept me awake all night. So maybe your baby will prefer to move in the night and hopefully he/she won't wake you? Although, I know attitudes have changed to how much you should feel a baby move now. The only advice I can offer is that if anything worries you in your pregnancy, make an appointment with your midwife.

Yes that is normal, the baby's just having a lazy day. I remember the same thing with my pregnancy's and getting worried for nothing. The baby moves when it want to and that's not all the time.

Ive had four babies and they were all diffrent in the womb. It seems like they will take little rests now and then. If they say the heartbeat is ok then it is. She/he is probably just gonna go through a growth spurt or something. I freacked out about that with everyone of them it's normal.:) Congrads on your baby.

Baby will have wakeful periods and sleepy periods, he/she was probably just having a good sleep after all the excitement of the past couple of days!!
Why not start a kick chart, just jotting down on a piece of paper when you feel movement, you should feel about 10 a day.
Try not to worry.

The farther you progress into pregnancy the more the baby is sleeping. If you don't feel movement for about 24 hours or more then its always to be safe than sorry so go to the ER or call your advice nurse...

Hope that helps,

You should not worry. Be happy, sometimes the baby is quiet. You probably have a football player and you will look back and smile.

that is normal. im not a female but i was very involved in the whole pregnancy of my first son. he moved when he wanted to and other times you couldn't get him to budge. it scared us as we where new parents the first time but the dr told us it was ok. but something too laugh at..... when we would try to get ultrasounds to see if it was a boy or girl it seemed as if he was trying to hide it everytime. he would move his legs to cover it up. but anyways everythings ok. be patient and it's ok to worry about things. thats what parents doo

A lot of times the baby is awake when you're sleeping....you probably wouldn't feel him move in that case. I wouldn't worry unless you went a few days without feeling him move....
