Sure you can, it just takes time getting over the pain, and once you do, you can move on. When a relationship ends, we tend to grieve and mourn it, however staying busy, being with friends, is the most healthy way to begin to heal and move on..

Not to be cheesy but I really feel this song from Rascal Flatts says it best-

I set out on a narrow way, many years ago
Hoping I would find true love along the broken road
But I got lost a time or two
Wipped my brow and kept pushing through
I couldn't see how every sign pointed straight to you

Chorus:
Every long lost dream
Lead me to where you are
Others who broke my heart
They were like northern stars
Pointing me on my way
Into your loving arms
This much I know is true
That God bless the broken road
That lead me straight to you.

I think about the years I spent
Just passing through
Tryin' to find the time I lost
And give it back to you
And you just smile and take my hand
You been there, you understand
It's all part of a grander plan
And that is coming true.

Chorus:
And god bless the broken road
that lead me straight to you..

It is all in one's personality make-up. Some do love again in the changed situraions. Majority do not like to love again having been hurt.

I have been relationship for once and i got married and we have a great life.
But when you ask question like if a person get hurt by a relationship will he be able to fall in love again? I think is not easy because first LOVE is always best for a relationship,it will be difficult to trust to another person....yeah; but it all depends in you how is your willpower and its true time heal every thing.
so all the best to you.
