Ok, Ill say Daughtry and Underwood were Ok, And I mean that the judges knew about Kelly before any auditions, and the voting was fixed.

Carrie Underwood is good too. How many more weeks of the auditioners are they going to have though? Get on with it!

I watch the show religiously, lol...and I am biased towards Kelly because I think she's great and she's also from my hometown. I also like Fantasia, and I really enjoy Taylor Hicks...but Kelly has really emerged to be the best selling Idol and most popular.
This season has gotten off to a lackluster start in my opinion, with more airtime being given to the moron's and goobies wanting to get thier mugs on TV. The last of the audtition shows will be next week, thus weeding out the misfits, and rejects from the ones who can actually carry a tune in a bucket. I have seen several good singers this year, and Chris Sligh will be one to watch. He is a dead ringer for Jack Osbourne, Ozzy's son, lol...but he's really good.
Lot's to enjoy about Idol this year, and as always Paula's seal clapping and antics are fun to watch, lol. But hey, I know the show isn't everyone's cup of tea, it's an acquired taste :)

Yeah Chris Daughtry is pretty good. I cant really hate on Kelly Clarkson, but how was it a setup?

All the singers stink. It sounds like canned singer of the 1960's from Philadelphia during the white's only American Bandstand era. I think we watch for the hype, see the loosers and then like professional wrestling we are curious. Rather than artifical soft rock - try some rock-a-billy at least that music was fun. This show reminds me of RCA, it wrecked early Elvis.
