I would prefer a more open minded show that actually encourages diverse views about events and ideas than one that ridicules people the host personally dislikes. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity are both too rabid for me.
Glenn Beck is a bit more moderate but not much.

I am a conservative talk radio junkie. If I'm on the road, I tune my XM Satellite Radio to Quinn & Rose, Glenn Beck, Mike McConnell or Laura Ingraham, Dave Ramsey, & Truckin Bozo Dale Sommers. I may catch Rollye James, Steve Sommers, Rusty Humphries, or Sean Hannity, depending on my mood. When I'm at home, I can catch Glenn Beck, don't care much for Rush, though I'll see what he has to say on terrestial radio.. I want to be entertained, as well as enlightened. I like some humor, some politics, some culture wars. Don't like to be overwhelmed with politics & don't like "shock" value. Hope that helps you.

I listen for actual, informative talk-radio with hosts who seem to care about open discussion. Whenever the show takes on a strict "call and complain," bombastic one-sided style, I change the channels. Immediately.

I can't deal with Air America, Hannity, or Limbaugh. I listen to a talk radio show called Free Talk Live, a liberty-oriented show where listeners call in and discuss their liberty issues. It's a great show.
