'Hurt" is a pop song written by Christina Aguilera, Linda Perry and Mark Ronson for Aguilera's third album Back to Basics (2006). The song's lyrical content describes how one deals with the loss of a loved one, and it has received praise from pop music critics. This song is way different than Johnny Cash's Hurt. LOL

i dont know why she sang it but it's johnny cash's song. he sang it a few months before his wife june died. i don't know she sang it. sorry.
