Yes, yes it is :) We have awesome beaches, breath-taking rainforests, the stereotypical "red centre", gorgeous weather, mostly beautiful [young] people, sparkling cities, clean air, wonderful flora & fauna, great style, inspiring talent, & tim tams!

This is your chance to be patriotic & 'sell' your country! My guess is that Australia is the best place to live, in the world...but don't all flock here too soon :p I like it exactly how it is!

It is very possible, in fact it is TRUE!!!!!!! Australia is the best country in the world and always will be!!! Anybody who says it isn't is jealous that they don't live in this spectacular country. Everything you have said about it is true, but you forgot to mention Footy and Vegemite!!! Mmmmm Vegemite.

It is an absolute pleasure to live in Australia!! And I am grateful every day that I wake up in the beautiful country, populated by the best and brightest (and hottest) people on earth. I would never want to live anywhere else.

I wouldn't change a thing about Australia, I love it just the way it is! But even if it does change, I'll love it all the same.

WE LOVE YOU AUSTRALIA.

Not really, sorry. The customs officials are rude and I've heard about the tall poppy syndrome. The guys are really pleasant and helpful though and it's nice that guys can be topless anywhere in public during the summer. But Sydney is over-crowded and with the constant rainforests fires and long periods of drought, I think many parts of Australia will just dry up and become wastelands due to the over-consumption of water. The water rations don't work cos there'll always be people who will overuse it, and I saw this in the news yesterday: Sydney's gonna dry up by 2017 if it doesn't rain more frequent. I'm not trying to thrash Australia, but this is my true opinion... and yes, I've lived in Oz for a short period of time, in the past.

I am a very proud to be an american and would die for my country. however. i am somewhat disappointed with the way our politicians and leaders. i also worry about the morals of some and the way that the kids are so spoiled and ignored at times leaving them almost on their own at such a young age. we have beautiful people and beautiful land and alot of riches.
i wouldnt live anywhere but right where i am, and i hope that our country will get better in time.
australia might be the best. you dont seem to be on the news everyday. and the australians ive met on the internet have always been nice.

It's possible but not for long. There are other place that attract people not for all thing u list but cheap food and many other things. If Australia have a nak beach and maybe nak parks, hey than it is the best country. There are still other things that Australia don't have that other place have like china. Sweet sour rice omg I can still feel the spice in my mouth and place like USA. OMG the soul foods are yummm yummm.

I agree that Australia is the best country in the world! Being American-Australian, I have to say that I'd rather live in Australia (sorry USA people).

It's a pity about the water shortages in Sydney and Melbourne though... people are predicting those two cities will run out of water by 2015.

I'm from Cairns, the best place in Australia :P.

stable ideas, regrettably no longer sensible i'm afraid. once you have one team who sense ‘theirs’ may be the dominant one then all of it breaks up. you have Islam asserting the entire globe could be Muslims. you have the individuals asserting their style of democracy is the only sort. The chinese language asserting their communism is the only way forward. One team asserting there could be no genetic blend. You get the factor right here. You communicate with the complexities of the individual. that's those complexities which will end your mind-blowing ideas from being materialised!

Just wondering: If everyone in Australia is so young...what happens to old people? Do they shoot them? Or does the general population just die at a young age?

It's impossible! The best country in the world is Bolivia. Why? Well, why not? It has more culture than Australia. All of Australia's culture comes from the Aborigines, which are being oppressed by the "beautiful [young] people" of Australia!

It's possible. I would love to visit someday. I'm still partial to Canada though, even with all it's problems. I can't think of a more beautiful country to live in.

well for a start you clearly have never been to South Africa :) and no one really has authority to say your country is best unless you have visited EVERY SINGLE other country in the world...
