I purchased a Kate Winslet Autograph Picture Like one of the Very First things I ever tried to Buy ( only about 12 dollars). Sent a Check that Got Cashed But Never Got the Item or any replies to My Emails. Soon after The Member was No Longer a Member and Evidently he did the same thing to about 15 Others.
Taught Me to Pay Attention to the Rating System They Use.
Since then I have had about 270 Successful Transactions with No problems :-)

Not really disapointed at all from my purchases,I always got what I paid for,and at a deal.
You can buy things off of Ebay that you cannot buy anywhere else, plus it is convenient.
I look at their feedback and try to contact the person with a question before I buy. If the seller responds quickly, chances are he/she is a good seller and a quick shipper.
It is important on Ebay that you list the item the best you can, that is the way to prevent bad feedback and the buyer should know by reading the listing what the item is like.
I think a lot of problems from Ebay stems from the fact that most people don't bother to read the listing in full, and can't be bothered by asking a question about the item.

My very first E-bay purchase and I knew nothing.

I ordered a baseball card and the description of the "Rating" from a card rating service was "almost" but not exactly what it should have been.

I got gypped for $40.

I had a friend buy ADELL computer that was some piece of trash that when it arrived had a sticker on it that actually said "ADELL"

What anyone should know, if you make a purchase with paypal for under $25 and don't receive it, you aren't getting the item or your money back.
It took a lady 2 1/2 months to send something paid for with paypal.

Well, I got this shirt from ebay for my boyfriend as a gift for his birthday...it was an "I'm in love with a stripper" shirt with a silhouette of a stripper on her stripper pole. It was so tight but when we received it it didn't even fit! The tag said the right size but it was like all short and like really 2 sizes too small!! That ebay guy sucks!! He ripped me off but whatever...

Not a purchase, but I recently sold a phone on Ebay and the asshole never paid for it. Of course I never sent it, but now I have to list it again.

I bought a shirt and gave positive feedback and then when I asked why they didn't give positive feedback in return, they made up some... gee, I don't find your information here. I reminded them that they sent the wrong size the first time, gave them the transaction number and still no feedback, thanks!
Murietta California may be home for Floyd Landis, but it's not the home of positive feedback!

I have had some bad luck with quality....the last thing was some expensive walking shoes I ordered and the seller neglected to tell me that there was ink lines through out the sole, you know like the teenagers do to their shoes. You couldn't tell in the picture and it wasn't mentioned in the listing. She couldn't understand why I wouldn't keep them, I am 40ish, not 14!

My luck with eBay has been okay. The cordless phone from a major big box store, on the other hand...it sucked, the thing wouldn't charge right. Not good. Can you say refund? :(
