I got first prize in a draw at a raffle, but as I went up to collect my prize .... I couldn't see anything. The host was waving an evelope at me, so I figured I'd got a restaurant voucher or something. It was in fact £200.
The raffle was part of a quiz night, at which my team came second, so we did rather well all round!

A cruise, week-long from Montego Bay, Jamaica, to St. Thomas, St. Martin, Puerto Rico and I forget where else and back for my wife and myself.
It's the only thing I've ever won.
It was a AAA travel drawing, and I was the last one into the office before the drawing -- which I hadn't even known about -- and filled out a slip at the greeter's request. I guess they just picked the name that was on top.

I have only ever won a meat raffle. So I guess about $30 bucks worth of beef.

nicely now i could might desire to declare all the bottles of wine i've got gained over the years yet whilst i replaced into 7 i gained a "Bertie Basset" that between the faculty dinner women folk knitted!! I undergo in recommendations i replaced into actual delighted, I smiled for days! xx

the only thing I've ever won was a jelly bean hamper - wasnt in a raffle tho but I was pretty happy at the time!
