thank you for the question... some stable ideas as solutions. i could only upload to the 1st technique mentioned that in case you want to poke a hollow in greater effective than only 2 sheets of paper, that's beneficial to apply a on the instant pin or a secure practices pin to make tiny holes in the direction of the papers quite of attempting to push a staple via. If that's a very thick stack of papers, you ought to have the flexibility to apply a hammer with a flat-head pin or with a needle (additionally the needles used in sewing machines are quite stable and many times have a flat appropriate you ought to only hammer on)... you're able to need to do the hammering on appropriate of something in spite of the undeniable fact that that does no longer be a situation because of the fact the hollow could come each and every of how via into it probable. (you ought to mark precisely the place to place the holes by using touching the ends of the staple to a stamp pad, etc., then pressing it down on the paper the place you want the staple to bypass... then only make the holes on the marks.) (did no longer quite understand approximately placing out the stapler, then stapling right into a mushy floor that must be bumped off till now folding down the staples' legs, the two... shoulda theory-approximately that! thank you.) I staple horizontal, but I always get the staples the wrong way round - so the back of the staple is on the front of the document. I think it says that I'm not that logical and a tad technically challenged :)

Diagonally. I never thought about it but I'm a neat person and I like the staple on an angle with the paper, maybe that's why?

That's actually a good question. When I do my homework and schoolwork and stuff, I staple diagonally. But at work, I staple horizontally.. i never thought of that! ..hmmm

what DOES that say about me as a person?

I staple diagonally. I believe it says that I am a thoughtfull person, because when you fold over each page the satple is postioned correctly to give maximum support to the folded paper. :)

Staple in the corner...so the pages fold so that nothing gets lost in translation.

Diagonally and I don't know what that says about me. I just think it's easier to flip through the papers that way.
