I can't get online on one of my computers and would like to know if this has happened to others

There is a lot of problems with IE7.
To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 to return to Internet Explorer 6 on Windows XP
Click "Start," and then click "Control Panel."
Click "Add or Remove Programs."
Check "Show Updates" at the top of the dialog box.
Scroll down the list and highlight the version of Internet Explorer 7 that you are running, and then click "Change/Remove."
Uninstall that,restart your PC and you are on IE6

yes it happened to me and I had to re boot my whole computer I had just done a reconstructed of whole computer and downloaded that you can turn on computer and i have windows and in the left corner this comes up and says press F1 it will redo your system but you have to do all ur disk over it takes it back to like new it is messed up

before you download and install anything you must do your home work and find out everything there is to know about the software, had you come here before you installed it you would have found out IE7 has big problems
you need to uninstall it through ad remove programs

try to run setup
Tools > Internet options > Connections > Setup
Also configure Lan settings if it is on a LAN

follow instructions from first poster. remove IE7 it suks. you'll be fine after. next time don't download unproven programs.
