The Presidency needs immediate improvement. Why? for the self preservation of this nation.

Your question is really irrelevant, since quality of life varies enormously between different Countries.
Since you do not mention any Country in particular, it would be very difficult to suggest any improvements.
For example, people in Western Europe, the USA and Oceana might consider different matters than those in war torn Countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
To narrow matters down further, people in the US might consider different health care options, whilst people in Europe enjoy free health care and would not consider that even an option.
You really need to state at least a Country or Continent be able to receive some type of accurate answer.

Economic independence- without knowing our own economic place in the world, without resisting global change, America will become the worlds largest pit of debt.

health care... millions don't have insurance... and they could be one major health issue away from bankruptcy...
and bankruptcy is bad for America and the economy and for the people...
and health care and insurance continue to go up at a much faster rate than inflation or salaries... so fewer and fewer businesses can afford to offer it and fewer and fewer people can afford to get it...
it's going to get worse before it gets better... don't get sick for about 5 years... trust me...

healthcare. because everyone needs it. but not everyone can afford it. ( i don't know if this is what your talking about?)
