The Bears have a chance. Yes Indianapolis is favored, but I don't see a blowout.

In order for the Bears to win they need to do three main things:

1) Defense - the strength of their team needs to step up and shut down the Colts offense.

2) Rex Grossman needs to manage the offense and not try to be Payton Manning.

3) Run the football, control the clock, and keep Payton off the field.

Yes they do. For the Bears to win, their defense must not allow the Colts to score early. If the Bears fall behind early, then their offense will have to abandon the running game and start throwing the football. This is not the strength of the Bears and it plays into the hands of the Colts defense and their superb pass rushers. If the Bears can keep it close, put pressure in Peyton Mannings face, and stick with the running game, with some occasional big plays in the passing game, the Bears can pull away in the second half.

The Colts won the AFC Conference game not bcuz of Peyton's arm but bcuz of the D. The Pats D gave away points.

Now YOU KNOW 4 SURE that the Bears will not allow any shenanigans like that. They will blitz Manning and, if the game goes into OT, the Bears line will kill him. Funeral on Monday.

THe Colts will think, "Oh we beat the Pats at the AFC game we can take on any good D's" when the fact is they just lost the game rite there.

sure,in football any team can beat any team on any given day. its a 1 game deal not like in the nba or mlb where its a best of 7. in football you screw up in the last minute and you go home no matter how good you were in the regular season

With that D and Peyton showing he's still not super-consistent in the playoffs? Oh yeah, they have a chance.
