Google makes money from advertising
by working with companies b-d they get wide spread exposure
that exposure is attractive to potential cutomers
therefore allowing Google to charge more for their service
their work with NASA just improves the Google Maps accuracy thus attracting visitors who would normally use Mapquest (or some other online map)instead
