I believe that Jesus was a perfect man that came to earth teaching about loving every one. and that is was betrayed by his own people and died for every one's sin. I believe Jesus loves every one. I think it is 1000% wrong to be a gay basher. I respect homosexuals just like any body else. I try not to judge people and condemn them. I don't think Jesus would be the person in High School and haning out with the so called "popular kids" or even the "Good Kids" i think he would talk to every one to the drugs dealer and theives to the "Good Kids and the "popular" kids. Lastly I believe I am no better than any one else. Not a gay person. Not a Atheist. Or any religion.

You can still recognize other people's faults whether or not you are a "better" person than they are or not. If everyone followed your logic no one would get in trouble because we would all be turning a blind eye out of humility. Be humble but don't turn your back on a viper. I can appreciate your attitude though. We have too many people who inhabit the other end of the spectrum of total hate and selfishness. You seem like a very nice person to me.

I believe you are a Christian. That is what matters most - believing in Jesus and accepting him as your Saviour.
Yes, I agree that no Christian should think that he is better than anyone else. However, the Bible tells to go and spread the word. This cannot be done without discussing sin. EVERYONE
sins. Some are simply more public. Often you don't realize that you have committed a sin unless someone points it out to you. I believe that homosexuality is a sin. Does this mean I hate people that are homosexuals? NO. But it does mean that I do not condone their lifestyle, and I feel that it is my Biblical obligation to tell them it is a sin if I am in a position to do so. The word of God says "Hate the sin, Love the sinner" Now this is not an exact quote, but you get the picture.
Anyway,
GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS

You are an open-minded Christian. And you are a rarity. You understand that being Christian means "practicing" it.

When you are like this it is hard to find the right "church" because unfortunately, you are correct when you say that many so-called "Christians" aren't so much Christians as much as they are self-righteous actors. To say one is a Christian means to say they are "Christ-like." Traditionally it was proper to say that one was a "practicing Christian," i.e. "I am practicing being Christ-like." You might want to check out the less-condemning schools of thought like Unity School of Christianity or Quakers.

I'm Catholic and I struggle a lot with my faith's take on social issues such as homosexuality. So whereas I agree with their take on the Trinity and the gospel, I don't agree with their take on social issues.
