If its your first date no, even if its the 5th or 9th, Your date might need to save his $$.There might be large bills or car payments he needs to make. Hey if you know the person and he's worth it treat him to a nice evening (use your imagination it doesn't have to cost an arm-n-leg) Never take offense to anything unless there is false accusations being made toward you by your best friend.Besides life is to short,Give and Take it's the only fair way in relationships.

First date? As a guy asking a woman out and she offered to split the bill I would feel bad. OK, I got shot down. I would take you home and say good-bye as a gentleman. If I were a woman and the guy wants to split the bill, I would ask to be taken home and not even wait for the car to stop to bolt.

Not at all, if she mentions it, I think she might be offended if you paid for it. I would not take offense....with this modern day in age, it's the kind of mentality we have.
