Best:

FDR - saw the US thru the depression and gave us hope. Implemented a lot of necessary changes.

Worst:

Toss-up between Nixon and Bush, Jr.

Nixon: for Watergate

Bush, Jr: for squandering world sympathy by getting into a war based on faulty evidence without a clearcut plan

Best- Washington, Wilson, I really like James Madison, though he doesn't deserve to be on the list, T Roosevelt.

Worst- Carter, Nixon, Buchanon, Andrew Jackson.

The person who said Lincoln was the first to follow the constitution, you are pretty off the mark, Lincoln has one of the worst constitutional records of any president. Though he likely defied the constitution for good reasons, like preserving the Union (also unconstitutional)

Worst president would be our own peanut farmer Jimmy Carter, remember the "malaise" he made the country think, that we just might need two presidents...
Best I would say would be Ronald Reagan, a man of his word, if anyone has noticed, he has never wavered in his position ( changed political parties, yes) since the inception of his political career..
I know this is not in your question, but the most misunderstood was Andrew Jackson

Personally, l would turn to lincoln because he was the first president to actually enforce and follow the constitution. Former presidents who a even aided in making the constitution failed to do so. As for the worst maybe nixon, because of the watergate incident.
P.S.
