I have a big swim competition this weekend what should I do to prepare for it?

eat plenty of carbs starting almost a week before the race. lower the amount of proteins and meat that you eat. eat plenty of carbs aroudnd 1-2 hours before your race. taking energy drinks that marathon runners use may be helpful but make sure you take it about an hour before the race or else if the effect fades away you will begin to feel very tired. make sure you have warmed up well and warm down after every race. make sure you stretch and do some jumps or jumping jacks before getting on the blocks to get you pumped up.

I have same kinda feeling because I have my race this weekend I try to stay relax and work harder while practicing but dont worry about rest of the way!!!

Stretches, breathing exercises, and eat lots of pasta the day before the meet, you'll build up more energy reserves that way.
