sounds like your Firefox or Internet Explorer is hijacked by spyware.

Just go to http://www.download.com and search for "adaware" without the quotes.

Download and update then run the program. you might have to restart the computer. worst case scenario is that you'll have to run it a second time and restart but it should get rid of your homepage problem.

i should get paid for this.

Following are the two keys in windows registry that contain the information regarding the home page of the browser. Check at the following locations and note down the entry.

MyComputer \ HKEY_CURRENT_USER \Software\ Microsoft \Internet Explorer \Main \Start Page

My Computer\ HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \SOftware \Microsoft \Internet Explorer \Main \Start Page

If you find it doubtful then right click on the key and select Modify. And delete the entry in the Value Data. Write there about:blank
You can change it later through the browser. If you find a suspicious entry then search for it in the whole registry and remove its instances.

on The link below there are details of editing registry, look only for appropriate info

You can not UNinstall an internet page, you can only change it. Change your homepage to any page you like.
