Most people find phone polling to be an invasive exercise. Posters work well enough if You are after the undecided as They are walking in to the polling place. The tried and true method is still the letter-box drop of "How to Vote" forms. Once Your candidate's name is in the house You have the edge. People are far more likely to remember how to vote once They have seen a completed ballot paper.

The best campaigns in my opinion combine tons of truth and lies- which is commonly known as propaganda. Read about the Nazis, and the Bush administration. Although the nazis were quite successful at it.
