I have had my rabbit for about 4 or 5 months now she is approx. 7 months old. All of a sudden she is tipping over her litter box. It just started this past Saturday. How do I stop her from doing this.

Put a weight in it. Rabbits are bored easily and to find entertainment they trash things. I suggest getting a few things for her (or him) to play with or getting another rabbit.

She could be bored. Get her some toys to play with, needn't be anything expensive, even things like old carboard rolls, bunched up newspaper, small plastic drink bottles and untreated cane baskets can have an entertainment value. Give her some run time in a safe area as well.

You could also try giving her a bigger, heavier litter box. Line the bottom with newspaper or paper based litter (no clay based or clumping) and top it up with hay. She'll probably be more inclined to have a dig or lay in it that tipping it over then

Punch holes in the plastic and twist wire to secure it to the side of the cage. Or you could get a wider, heavier litter box. good luck :)

*edit* after reading other posts. It;s true that rabbits like the company of other rabbits, but it can be VERY difficult to make them get along. Both rabbits should be spayed and neutered and the bonding process can take weeks or months.

Rabbits need something that makes them use their brain! they are smart animals and will get into things when not stimulated. Try weighting the litterbox down and getting your rabbit a few toys.
DON'T get another rabbit, they are very territorial and will fight and can seriously hurt each other.

My rabbit does this also. Our pet store sells clips that you glue to the sides of the litterbox to attach to the walls of the cage.

Is she all alone? Rabbits get lonely and bored... I would either get her more toys or a playmate. Oh and put something heavy in the box.
