It fluctuates from girl to girl. Some chicks are just fine, but some girls get really cranky - mainly because of cramping. Just think about how you would feel if you felt if someone were constantly punching you in the gut and there was nothing you could do about it. Act accordingly. Chocolate helps and whatever you do, DO NOT, in any way, allude to her bitchiness. And do even SAY the word period or any other term for that time of the month. If shes your girlfriend, learn her cycle and be extra nice those days. Im sure shell be happy that you're trying to show you understand...even if you may not.

Heh! Everyone is different. No one can tell you what to expect. If she gets bad cramps, she will probably at the very least be grumpy or whiny. Some girls breeze through that time of month though with little moodiness and only slightly inconvenienced. Get to know her for a few months and you'll figure it out.

I know it is hard to understand AND sympathize, but LITERALLY - PMS causes the body to react to a fluctuation of hormones that has the identical affect (chemically in the brain) of a drug withdrawl. This is partly why cravings for different foods happen as well. The body is missing something and us women try to find it in the fridge. You best bet is to steer clear and try to be sensative even when it seems that her super ***** claws are cuttin you up every time you look at her..... She will remember and eventually when she (sobers up from the hormone surege - i.e. "Actually gets her period") she will be tame once again.....
God Bless you guys for putting up with us... You sweet sweet men!!!

Depends on the girl - and how low her estrogen levels drop! We will all get moody and nasty sometime, but if you do notice something totally ridiculous or mean about her (temporarily, of course), then it's likely she's PMSing. Guys will never understand everything about girls, and girls will never understand everything about guys, so we will all just have to deal with each other's bad habits. Sorry, but good luck! ;)

Given that PMS has been used as a defense in murder cases, I'd have to say pretty moody!
OK, so not every woman becomes homicidal, but you should think twice before opening your mouth around a woman having PMS. Actually, just be careful about what you say to a woman, period.

Dude it depends on the girl and how severe she has it. I have it mildly and my BF says he can tell when i am on mine because i tend to actually be nicer...but i have a slight fear of being an overreactive Bi*** during this time so i do try to compensate a little. I think it's just an excuse to be bit**y ...sorry girls but i am a girl too and this is just my opinion.

I turn into dragon ***** with flaming nostrils about 3 days before I start. My boyfriend usually keeps his distance if I warn him, since any insignificant argument can be turned into an up all night battle.

They could get mood swings, ever heard of that thing called PMS. Just be prepared because you may see some odd behavior (kind that makes you say ....um, okay)
