So you will eventually get married and live a long distance away from each other. Get real. Drop the stalking and get a real relationship.

No, the vast majority of cell phones do NOT have a tracking device in them. The cell company can find out the general area it's in IF it's being used at the time, by seeing which cell site it's sending to and receiving from -- depending on the density of cell sites, that area could be anywhere from a block or two up to many square miles. Those shows on TV that show people tracking somebody by their cell signal -- just TV fantasy. If you ask the cell company to try and locate it, they're gonna charge you...a lot :) Just call them and tell them it's lost, they'll deactivate it so nobody can run up your charges, and then get a new phone. Much cheaper and easier.

Sure. All it takes is three different sattelites, positioned in specific orbits, and the equipment needed to communicate with them. Anything that gives out a signal, as a cell phone is always doing, can be triangulated. This means that usingthe angle and time it takes for the signal to get to the satellites, your location can be determined down to a couple of feet. If you can't afford all that, you could hack the service provider, and be able to tell what tower the signal is going to, which would determine the general area the phone is in. Short answer, only the government can, and they have better things to do. Your best bet is just to call it and ask the person where they are.

You shouldn't be dating at all with your mind set. Does stalking mean anything to you ? You shouldn't date someone you can't trust !!

You trust him, but you want to track him by GPS. Right. I understand completely.
