Chucky's my bud, he would never hurt me, and strangely enough, neither would Freddy. On the other hand, Jason and Micheal Myers might.

yeah that happens to me too! i get nightmares after watching a horror movie or after reading a scary book. so i try and keep a time limit on when i can watch those movies or read those books. like, i can't read scary books after 7:30pm or else i'll get nightmares - i can still read the books, but i have to stop at 7:30. i also try to do something happy and uplifting after watching horror movies, and that helps.

plus, reading books and watching tv/movies actually stimulates your brain, so researchers say you shouldn't do those things right before bed.

These days horror movies are the best comedies-LOL

What i do, i switch to a music channel for a while, &watch that, just to make the images a little dimmer (that is ofcause if the movie was really not scary-but desturbing)

You just need to remember those are actors and actesses. That is not real life. If you have nightmares I suggest you just stop watching those types of movies and watch more comedy movies.

Heres an easy one, don't watch scary movies. Fear will run your life moron otherwise you'd already be dead. It is the thing inside us that says well this is a dumbass move, its what keeps us alive.

But what I do to go to bed easier is try and watch them with a friend or have like a night light on when you go to bed.

As a teenager, I had nightmares.

Now as an adult, 10 years later, I do not have nightmares.

I love horror movies, but I think it is just a case of separating reality from fantasy...real life is scarier than any movie.
