My wife and I play a lot of scrabble. We use Dictionary.com and the Scrabble dictionary to challenge each other. We are very competitive. I used the word Ahs...i.e., oohs & ahs. Ahs was not in dictionary.com or in the scrabble dictionary. Adz is a tool. I played adzs as to have more than 1 of that tool. There is no reference to plural adz in dictionary.com or scrabble dictionary. HELP!! What is the plural of adz? Also, why is ahs not in the dictionary?

Adze (with an "e") is a tool. Its plural is "adzes".
"Ah" is in the dictionary. For its plural just add "s".

The plural form of adz is adzes.

I believe ah is an interjection, which can not be pluralized, hence the reason you are unable to find it in the dictionary.

adze is a word not adz.
so adzes would be plural
if adz is in the scrabble dictionary then it is still adzes for the plural in my opinion

I'm just like you and for the longest I thought babbies too, but then someone showed me the error of my ways. In the original post, the mother killed her babbys, not babbies. I still use babbies at times, but I am the Babby Mafia princess, so I can get away with it. Others... not so much.
